I believe you were sitting right behind me and CardsRuletheBurgh at this game last year...

I think I was already out of my seat and to the concourse by the time this shot was taken ;)

Maybe you were but as soon as I saw this play setting up I got up and was motoring out of there. ;)

That metal roof really holds the noise inside the place. That was an excellent game - I probably would have thought it a good game even if it came out the wrong way

I'm flattered. Good thing you will be at the game, I promised my kids I'd help them with a project this weekend, and won't be there. Someone else will have to fill in the blanks for the remote fans. Jconnor? Don? Jim? Beuler?

PS .. Trust your son is doing well?

Yes, thanks for asking. He just started new job, that he was interviewing week of Alum Weekend. Elmira degree must hold some weight. Career job !!
I will be there. High School team that I coach, lost in first round of States. First time since Albert played there.

Johnny, sorry I couldn't get any pics for you, **** batteries were dead, should have checked before I went to the game.
Great game, stands were full, as in the Good Old Days! The place was rocking, great showing by the students. It was so nice winning on home ice after so many years.
Next step? I like our chances of making the Final Four now.

Looks great. Somewhat disappointed to see a crowd of people on the other side of the rink up and moving to the door before the final buzzer even sounded. I can only hope those were Neumann fans, and even if they were... respect, please?

Other than that, this looks great! Congrats to Caoch Saul, all the coaching staff, and all the student-athletes who worked hard for this conference title!

Unfortunately, the fourth then fifth goal with just under a minute emptied the stands. The paper says 1550 at the game but I do not believe it, looked to be over 2000. Not sure but maybe they didn’t count the students? Anyways was a great game with the largest student support I have seen in YEARS. It is good to see that someone on campus must have promoted the game at least a little bit.
From the opening faceoff, to the last buzzer the place was rocking. Was awesome!!! It was almost like the good old RIT days. Well maybe not but is a start.
Let’s hope once the smoke clears tonight will have one more shot next weekend to cheer on this great hockey team.

Re: Fans leaving early. I think it had to do with the size of the crowd and how hard it can be getting out of the parking lots. To me it looked more like they had moved towards the doors, then stood around for the final buzzer. Yes, a lot of people left before the presentation of the trophy but hey! Their the ones who don,t usually come. It was a really good crowd and I too would say over 2000 easily. let,s hope we see as many come next weekend.
