You know I don't remember but if that's what you think that's good enough for me. I was a Dman and fought every single day to stay in the lineup. We had such a good team a good player was always in the stands.

Johnny, I think they played on the same line during Aaron,s senior year. They have some really good players in the stands each game this year too, a good thing I guess.

Jackals are on the road.

No reason why there shouldn't be close to 2000 people at the Domes on Saturday.

Get promoting to the students and pack the freaking place. It's about time Elmira finally wins one of these things at home.

I agree Prez. No reason we can’t get 2000 for Saturday’s game but I don’t count on many of those being students. I hope I’m wrong. The few that did show up last week were somewhat fun and animated. I certainly hope we don’t have another noise maker issue like Saturday night. I don’t foresee it being an issue since we will probably only see a small group of NC students who normally site right behind the team bench and don’t have a problem with the noise makers, i.e. cowbells.

Anyway, should be a great game and you will not see the same team you saw two weeks ago against NC. The Boys will be amped for this one.

Now let’s get the “thunderdomes” rocking on Saturday…

  • Hobart skated hard and forechecked intensely, but could never find the back of the net until the outcome was no longer in doubt.
  • Taylor pulled the goalie down three with 3 to go. Gutsy!
  • Cam Miller took a real cheap shot slash on Campbell with about 90 seconds to go. Way to lose with dignity! Your parents must be soooo proud!
  • Only ~500 in the seats at the anthem, but the ticket line was out the door. About 1300 total by the end of the first. Only 40 or so students, and the roundball team is really bad ... pathetic.
  • EC's overall speed created a bunch of opportunities, and caused 'Bart to take a few penalties.
  • Funny how D3 only sees the good referees at playoff time.
  • EC created traffic in front of the net all night
  • Acorn twisted his knee on his goal, and never re-appeared. Skating only 3 lines took its toll.
  • Strale has ~really~ blossomed over the last 10 games.

Goals:
1 - Strale: Nice tip-in from a passhot from Campbell
2 - Schrank: Breakaway out of the penalty box. Defense had no clue penalty was expiring
3 - Acorn: Beautiful toe drag on a 3 on 2.
4 - Strale: Sniped in a blast wrister from the left circle from Linden
5 - Vallaincort: Another traffic tip-in from Kirby

EC looks very very good right now, but League championship games are not their forte.

Could someone take pictures of the game? I could use new wallpaper for my laptop. Maybe center ice faceoff from up high or something like that. Perfect pic would be a packed house with center ice faceoff.

Hope you make it... maybe we'll get lucky and the shrimp won't re-freeze at this year's tailgate! Preliminary forecast will be above freezing, but an even chance of some form of precip. Safe travels if you decide to come.

Hard to get 2,000 people in there when you stand in a non-moving ticket line for 20 minutes. :rolleyes:

Come early... Years ago, when the we used to have big crowds, we would get there at 6 for a 7:30 puck drop.

They will start selling tickets at the Domes at 4pm Saturday. Works good, buy your tickets at 4, then tailgate till the doors open at 6. No waiting involved!
