Would it be earth shattering if no ECAC-W team makes the 2012 field??Crushing blow to a team that cannot afford bad losses without the luxury of the Pool B bid this season.
Makes the Northfield Savings Bank Tournament almost a must win for EC now if they want to keep themselves in the Pool C hunt.

I have seen Elmira play twice this season, and they are good. I was shocked to see this score? Wow
This happened the last time we played at Brockport, went in thinking easy win and got burned. All those penalties, give up a short handed goal, can't win games that way.The team I saw at the Primelink wouldn't have lost this game. What happened?
I can almost guarantee an ecac west team will get a pool c bid
I was at the game. Not to make excuses, but, as for the penalties, the officiating was absolutely dreadful. The worst by far I've seen all year. Don't think we were used to the small ice surface, and the ice itself was TERRIBLE. Players were falling down all over the place, which led to Brockport's 2nd goal on a breakaway. Pucks were bouncing all over the place. That all said, though, I think there were stretches when we were very sloppy. It was one of those "playing down to your opposition" kind of nights. We also had opportunities to cash in and either Brockport's goalie made a great save, or they made a good defensive play. They did a good job of impeding us on that small ice.
Not if the criteria isn't there.
The ECAC West hasn't been as dominant out of conference as they have been recently and if they beat up on each other in their intra-conferece matchups, it's certainly feasible every team could have 8-9 losses and that'd be tough to secure a Pool C bid when more than likely it will be a 7-4 split, which means the East gets two Pool C's. The only other scenario is a 9-2 split with Adrian (assuming they win the MCHA) going to Oswego or Elmira and basically being classified as an East team.
Pool C bids are going to be hard to come by and with NU and CSC playng four games NCAA doesn't recognize St A's & St M's things will be tough for ECAC EAST if not touney winner
It is what it is, any team can beat another as we all know...thats why they play the games...fun for allThe team I saw at the Primelink wouldn't have lost this game. What happened?
Both teams had the same refs and same ice.....I was at the game. Not to make excuses, but, as for the penalties, the officiating was absolutely dreadful. The worst by far I've seen all year.
