And then the system should fix itself next election. Like it's "fixing" itself (so far) right now by blowing everything up.

Our country has done some farked up things in it's darkest hours, from the trail of tears to internment camps, McCarthyism, Jim Crow, and, oh yeah, slavery.

Don't pretend like we can't do those things again. We just took a major step down that path.

Because you have Republicans in Washington who put party over country. Dems will be the minority, the only check on Trump doing whatever he damm well pleases are the Republican members of Congress. And we've already seen how Republicans who ran against Trump, and the others who said they would never vote for him, bend the knee and do exactly that. Trump will let them do whatever they want re: Obamacare, abortion, taxes, the whole right-wing mantra, as long as they give him whatever he wants. And if they don't, he'll bully and cow them like he did Jeb, l'il Marco and Christie.

We did do all those things, and guess what? We've improved since then. And we're still here.

Well, a message is being sent tonight about the traditional system, in a way.

20 of the last 28 years (if Hill wins) will have the country run by two TWO families. That ain't right.

The actual evil geniuses in Congress are going to write the laws, and then Trump (Gov. Lepetomane) will drool on himself before rubber-stamping them, with Pence (Hedley Lamarr) whispering in his ear. Trump will then give a press conference about how "GREAT and BIGLY they will impact real Americans, HARUMPH, HARUMPH, HARUMPH".

It's going to be a nightmare.

I wouldn't qualify. I couldn't qualify when I was 18, and sure as heck couldn't qualify now.

The DNC scared off any and all challengers. Bernie was an afterthought to keep HRC from running unopposed and his showing should have set off warning bells in DWS's boudoir.

I did...until I had evidence to the contrary.

50 million people just said "F You!" to Gay Rights, Abortion Rights, Womens Rights, Fixing Climate Change...

"The problem with America is...its full of Americans".

But hey I am sure when the rest of the world hates us we can take solace in our "Freedom Fries" and pretend it doesnt matter cause AMERICA F YEAH!!
