CBS reported it, but they said they didn't have confirmation from the Clinton camp. They are also dragging their feet on the calling of states, saying that Trump isn't over 270 yet, although the AP has it called.

TV stations need ratings. Local NBC called FLA 30 minutes before CNN called it. AP reports were the source.

I can't sleep now.
We are no longer the melting pot. We're just another nationalist hell hole.
I seriously have to rethink my career, because I have no idea how to operate in a world where Trump's mode of persuasion works. It's antithetical to how i think, and to what I think this country represents.
I try to make a living convincing people to adopt more efficient practices in engineering, but often feel like I'm selling solar panels: a good idea that no one wants to buy. Whatever failures I have in my career suddenly feel like they have been illuminated and made clear. I simply don't get other people. All this time I spend trying to prove ROI and reduced overhead, and all of my losses are probably because of people who just want to hear "it'll be great, you won't believe how great it is, everyone says so" and maybe hear me call their receptionist a fat rapist.
Did I mention I can't sleep and therefore shouldn't hit "send" on anything?

I’ve always dreamed of settling down and starting a family. But for the first time in my life, I’m glad I don’t have a family and I’m especially glad I don’t have a daughter. The questions would be unbearably difficult to answer.
How do I wake up tomorrow and explain to her what happened last night when she asks? That America doesn’t value you because you’re not a man. That you still can’t be president because you’re not a man.
Beyond that, how would I tell my children that America doesn’t value diversity? What would I tell my child if they were a member of the LGBT community? That America doesn’t value you unless you’re a heterosexual, white, Christian, male? We rend our garments and gnash our teeth over Sharia Law but let Christian fundamentalists run amok in our government.
Racism has won. Xenophobia has won. Sexism and misogyny have won. Fundamentalism has won. Lies have won. A man who ran a scam university won. A man that doesn’t pay his contracts won. A man who doesn’t understand NAFTA or the implications won. A man who judges you based upon your looks won. A man who only cares what you have to say if you have a *****.
This isn’t a rebuke of Washington. The incumbents would have had widespread losses if it was. They haven’t. I might have accepted this result if it were the case. But no, this is an embrace of racism and sexism. An embrace of the qualities we've worked for decades to eliminate.
