I am going to try and sleep as well...the (ironically) Thomas Jefferson bourbon should help.

I can't think about the woulda, coulda, shoulda right now. For me personally not making more of an effort outside of simply voting, for the Democrats' decision to put forth the candidate they did, or Clinton and the way she ran her campaign.

All I can do is hope beyond hope that every instinct I have about Trump and Republican carte blanche in congress is wrong.

I want to be eating crow in 2-3 years, though I am anything but optimistic.

And now they're saying Clinton will probably dispute it... Infowars suggesting her cronies may start something to invalidate the election and fall the Republic.

My lady was in tears earlier. I wish I had done a better job of consoling, but I was (and still am) ticked too.

She's terrified for her sister who is in a lesbian marriage, and for the kids we want to have within a few years. The best I could come up with was "Screw what anyone thinks, we all know they're married. Our children will be young enough that they won't remember this idiot being the president."

It rang hollow, as it should. The possible setbacks could last a generation. I wish I had more.

Don't use cronies. Come on, dude. This close? I'd dispute it, too, either side.

My thought on tonight:
I'm thrilled USA gave the finger to the gub'ment. I just wish Trump wasn't the messenger.

She's married. I may not like it, but they're legally married. Nobody is going to force them to wear a pink star. If they do, I'll take my 61 year old fat Catholic body and defend her to the end.
