ECAC playoff predictions

Re: ECAC playoff predictions

With Clarkson's win, Hahvads tie with SLU and Cornells win toknight:

I think this is the possible outcomes for the end of season League top 3:

If somehow Cornell loses to Union (when cows fly) and Clarkson beats Hahvad, Clarkson wins the regular season title, Cornell is 2nd if Hahvad ties or loses to Yale and Hahvad is in 2nd with a win over Yale
If somehow Cornell loses to Union (when cows fly) and Clarkson ties Hahvad, Hahvad can win the title by beating Yale, Hahvad comes in 2nd by tieing Yale and Clarkson gets 2nd if Hahvad loses to Yale
If somehow Cornell loses to Union (when cows fly) and Hahvad beats Clarkson, Hahvad wins the regular season title by beating Yale, Cornell is 2nd and Clarkson 3rd
If somehow Cornell loses to Union (when cows fly) and Hahvad ties Clarkson, Cornell wins the regular season title and Hahvad is in 2nd with a win or tie to Yale, Clarkson is 2nd with Hahvad loss to Yale
If somehow Cornell ties Union (when pigs fly) and Clarkson beats Hahvad, Clarkson wins the regular season title and Cornell is in 2nd no matter what Hahvad does against Yale
If somehow Cornell ties Union (when pigs fly) and Clarkson ties Hahvad, Hahvad wins the regular season title by beating Yale, Cornell is 2nd and Clarkson 3rd
If somehow Cornell ties Union (when pigs fly) and Clarkson ties Hahvad, Hahvad gets 2nd by tieing Yale and Clarkson is 3rd
If somehow Cornell ties Union (when pigs fly) and Hahvad beats Clarkson, Hahvad wins the regular season title by beating or tieing Yale, Cornell is 2nd and Clarkson 3rd
If Cornell wins they get first and therefore:
Clarkson beats Hahvad, Clarkson wins the tiebreaker with Hahvad and gets 2nd.
A Clarkson tie, then Hahvad must beat or tie Yale to get 2nd
A Hahvad win and Clarkson gets 3rd.

Sorry but you are wrong. Even if Cornell wins tomorrow, if Harvard wins its final two games, they finish first in the ECAC and Cornell finishes second. If Harvard ties tomorrow and beats Yale, they finish second if Cornell wins which they will. A Harvard loss tomorrow relegates them to third place no matter what.

I stand corrected. Tried to do things too fast. Anyway Clarkson is gonna win tomorrow ;) .

Re: ECAC playoff predictions

Colgate holds the tiebreak over Princeton.
If Princeton wins, they're in.
If Princeton ties, they can get in with a Colgate loss or tie.
If Princeton loses, they can get in with a Colgate loss.
If Colgate wins, they can get in with a Princeton loss or tie.
If Colgate ties, they can get in with a Princeton loss.
If Colgate loses, they're out.

Q-Pac owns the tiebreak over SLU. It's similar to what I described above, just replace Princeton with SLU, Colgate with Q-Pac, and in/out with at home/on the road.

Hmm LGT LGT LGT :) .

Congrats to Cornell as the Regular Season Champs and to Harvard on their 3rd place finish.

Yeah, we're thrilled. I really hope we drill you guys in the playoffs. You should tell #24 to have eyes in the back of her head. She is one of the dirtiest players I've seen in a while. What a cheap shot artist. Pure garbage. Wish we still had Rugger. She'd put an end to that nonsense in short order.

Won't get into a ****ing contest with you on this since I was not there. Hope you did not take my congrats on Harvard finishing 3rd as a put down. It really was not meant to be one. Lets just hope both of our teams can make it past the first round and see what will then happen at Lynah (or may be Cheel  ) in two weeks. I painfully remember last year Quinny taking the series in 3 even though Clarkson beat them twice in the Regular Season. Good luck to Harvard with Dartmouth. I myself am glad we have RPI and not them (hope I do not eat crow on that comment).
