You know what, I'm going to make my picks this year based on some past history (and odd/even trends):
1. Quinnipiac (since 2012-13, they've been an in-conference "lion")
2. Yale (will be motivated by their neighbors 10 miles north)
3. St. Lawrence (The Saints have another good season. I expect their home ice being in the "middle of nowhere" to provide them with an advantage.)
4. Colgate (had top-4 finishes in 2010, 2012, and 2014)
5. Union (will be looking to avenge last season's 10th place finish)
6. Harvard (Has a lot of talent, but have been wildly inconsistent from year to year. I'm putting the Crimson in the middle of the pack.)
7. Cornell (They used to always finish in the top 4, but have failed to do so in 2 of the last 3 seasons. Plus, at least 4 teams are better than them "on paper")
8. Clarkson (about the average finish for this team in the past few years)
9. Dartmouth (finished bottom 4 in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014)
10. RPI (if Kasdorf can return to his 2012-13 form, maybe the Engineers finish higher)
11. Brown (has finished 9th or lower in all but 1 season since 2006)
12. Princeton (Nowhere to go but up. The Tigers have a long way to go before they are relevant again.)

Now that I have all the information I can get, time to make some picks:
1. Harvard. UNB to a tie? You're the real deal. At least for now. Not much loss up front, where they were strong last year.
2. Yale. These guys haven't lost much. An extra year seasoned, look for them to challenge for the top.
3. Quinnipiac. Sure, they've thrashed some NC, but losing Peca is tough.
4. Cornell. Same reason, they're Cornell. And somehow, they're going to right the ship.
5. SLU. Hayton's still there, but forward presence has graduated. Expect low scoring games here.
6. Colgate. This was a tough one... quite inconsistent. Inconsistency goes in the middle.
7. CCT. They're the Buffalo Bills of NCAA Hockey. You'll see why.
8. Brown. Every once in a while, they find a season where they can just magically pull it together. This is one of those seasons.
9. Union. Like last year, I see a downward spiral as time goes by.
10. Dartmouth. Their heavy hitters have graduated, and I don't know if they have the horses.
11. RPI. Still can't play offense.
12. Princeton. Sorry, but they're still going to be rebuilding.
