Re: ECAC Pick The Standings Contest 2015-2016
Wow jmhusker, congrats
Wow jmhusker, congrats
goldenbriggsy was the contestant that picked the most correct team finishes in the standings with 7. Colgate and RPI were his downfall. As a matter of fact, if he had switched those 2 teams in the standings he would have won easily with a score of 12 points.![]()
And now it is with great pleasure I announce that jmhusker has won the 2015-2016 ECAC Pick The Standings Contest. In addition, the 24 points is the lowest total in the history of this contest breaking Red Clouds 26 point winning total in 2005-2006.
No no.. you misunderstand. Highest losing total!
..... But the fix must be in there someplace as i cannot recall VicB ever reaching up as high as 4th.
....
Or the broken watch and the correct time? The blind squirrel finding a nut applies here.![]()
Last weeks leader, TBRW (see TBRW.info), fell way down into a tie for 22nd.
Another ECAC Regular Season is in the books. Congrats to Quinnipiac on their 2nd straight Cleary Cup.

In our contest within a contest, JennyRN once again beats out Dr Demento, this time by 6 points.
The Fan Average rose to 14th. The Coaches drop 1 to 43rd while The Media dropped 3 spots into a tie for 16th. The Random Number along with Rjm7272 put up a good fight but ColSkate65 is this years last place winner (or loser depending on which way you want to look at it).
Some other STATS:
Colgate cost the contestants the most number of contest point by far with an average of 23.05. RPI with 13.75 and Clarkson with 11.62 pts were the other teams in double digits.

And just a reminder folks, the ECAC PICK THE PLAYOFFS contest thread is up and running awaiting your picks.
Thanks to everyone that played and I am already looking forward to next years contest.
