Well we are one week into the new ECAC Regular Season and the contest overall leader is Golden Bear . The Random Number is dead last. I used the following to determine the league standings: points and the following to break ties: greatest goal differential and goals scored. Example Yale is 1 and SLU is #2. Both had 4 points, both had the same goal differential 6 but Yales scored more goals.

. Afterall this is the ECAC Hockey League. With Princeton the new #1 team in the ECAC Standings (By Points) our new contest leader is Go Puckman. Last weeks leader Golden Bear has fallen into a tie for 22nd. The Random Number has made a big comeback from last place to 17th. The Fan Average is in a tie for 43rd. I will not acknowledge the person who is now the cellar dweller

Re: ECAC Pick The Standings 2010-11
Well at week 3 Go Puckman continues to be our contest leader but Onion Man has tied him for the top spot. The Random Number continues its climb upwards and has broken into the top 10 at number 10. The Fan Average continues to drop like a brick from 43rd to 76th. Yours truly has rocketed out of the cellar to 39th (Kepler there is hope for you as you can see ). And for the first time I can ever remember Dr Dememto has made it into the Top 10 in this contest.
A shortened league schedule this Thanksgiving week with Prinny meeting Quinny on Tuesday and Dartmouth and Harvard playing a home and home on the weekend. Have a great Turkey Day all.

Just dumb luck for me to be in the top 10-although when it comes to picking the playoffs I have been far more fortunate-winning one year. Being 26 spots ahead of Jenny is the real accomplishment for me. I fully expect that when the league schedule gets into full swing I will slip down to my accustomed position.
I am not celebrating-the Random Number is only 4 spots behind me!!
