Re: ECAC Pick The Standings 2009-2010

I haven't seen a single ECAC team play in person since RPI @ Yale in early 2008. So this should be interesting.

2 Princeton
3 Yale
4 Harvard
5 Dartmouth
6 RPI
7 Quinnipiac
8 Union
9 St Lawrence
10 Colgate
11 Clarkson
12 Brown

Re: ECAC Pick The Standings 2009-2010

With the coaches and media included in our 46 contestants the evening stats:

Avg High Low Std Dev
1 Corn 2.15 1.00 5.00 1.03
2 Yale 2.20 1.00 9.00 1.75
3 Prin 3.35 1.00 9.00 1.86
4 Harv 4.24 2.00 7.00 1.20
5 Dart 6.93 3.00 11.00 2.22
6 RPI 7.00 2.00 12.00 2.49
7 Quinn 7.26 4.00 11.00 1.76
8 Clark 8.09 1.00 12.00 2.91
9 SLU 8.26 1.00 11.00 2.45
10 Union 8.30 1.00 12.00 2.47
11 Colg 8.43 3.00 12.00 2.45
12 Brown 11.78 10.00 12.00 0.51

And since Quinny and RPI were tied in the coaches poll for 8th, Q before R in the alphabet so Quinny gets 8 and RPI 9th. :)

Moving up from 11th to 10th and nipping at the heels of the North Country squads . . . . here come the Dutchmen!

Re: ECAC Pick The Standings 2009-2010

Looks like my picks for the top 4 agree with the coaches and media. But the two polls vastly differ in the bottom half. (I can't see Clarkson or Quinnipiac finishing 11th, but honestly, something tells me one of these two teams will be in the bottom four.)
