Here you go (based on MATLAB's randperm function using a Mersenne twister stream generated from the clock time when I did it). :)

1 Dartmouth
2 Saint Lawrence
3 Union
4 Clarkson
5 Princeton
6 Cornell
7 Colgate
8 Quinnipiac
9 Rennselear
10 Brown
11 Harvard
12 Yale

Even the random number generator hates Brown. :(

Who is this "Rensselear"? :)

You expect someone from a SUNY school to be able to spell ??:D

Actually, I rarely comment upon spelling errors since I make so many myself. I make an exception for misspellings of "Rensselaer" especially in reports about RPI recruits.

I am also wondering about what number "100,00th" is.

Hey Ralph...how about these two forwards you have coming in ? You think the "Tute" will be respectable this year ??

At this time of the year, I am always optimistic. :D I'll have a better idea after Saturday's game.

There is no doubt that D'Amigo and Pirri are both very talented, and their presence should relieve some of the pressure that opponents have put on Helfrich and Polacek the last two years. Having more than one line with offensive talent helps a lot. It's too bad that Jacob Laliberté has delayed his matriculation (for whatever reason) until next fall since he could turn out to be a better forward in college than either D'Amigo or Pirri.

I add that last year, RPI had two players on InCH's position lists, Mike Bergin and Allen York, and neither played much. Bergin was injured after six games and got a medical redshirt. He is pencilled in to be the point man on RPI's powerplay according to a recent newspaper article. Allen York backed up Matthias Lange until late in the year but then got RPI to the second round of the playoffs and a game away from eliminating Cornell.

Re: ECAC Pick The Standings 2009-2010

I understand the optimism Ralph. McIntyre's a gamebreaker, Smith had seventeen goals as a rookie, Day skates as well as any1 I've seen. Two very good defenseman back from missing all last year and two NHL draft picks coming in on D.

Long was playing outstanding in goal at the end. I can't see Gate not being at least home ice first round this year. Austin Smith will score 25 this year...noone anywhere gives him the credit he's due. Alot depends on our young defenseman.
