The code USAHOCKEY unlocked the one day tickets and was a 21% discount I believe. Not sure if still available for rooms, but the government rate at the Omni next to the rink was $131, $169 regular price for a nice hotel.

Also, who buys tickets to a regional that isn't going to come close to selling out for both nights, then dumps the second night on stubhub if their team loses? Hoky will keep hitting reload all night after BC loses trying to figure out what went wrong.

No updates on Barber yet. Perhaps Blasi will say something at his presser, but I wouldn't bet on it. IF Barber plays, and IF Miami figures out a way past Providence in round 1, I like our chances to get to Boston this year. But, that's a lot of IF's.

As a BC fan who's resigned to a one-and-done fate (while still smiling at my Man Cave festooned with Championship banners), I think Miami is the team that deserves the Cinderella slipper. I'd like to see them in The Frozen Four. They seem to have the measure of Denver.

Miami is going to have a tough time without Barber or Coleman against Providence.

Barber's injury looked pretty awful.

No player from bc who scored a goal against Denver last year is on the roster.

That seem ages ago after a season like this. To be honest I don't remember it all and hope BC has enough to be pull this one out.

Where are BC fans sitting Saturday ? I'm in 114

I was able to buy for Saturday only unless I bought upper balcony seats for the package deal.

True. But neither team lit it up last fall in Denver... each team winning by a 2-1 score. Is Denver as offensively challenged as BC?

Here's what BC has going for them.... 3rd time's the charm (at the Dunk that is).
I've seen losses against Cornel and Union... at the funkin Dunkin. Enuff of that chit! :)

From DU: Saturday’s DU-BC contest will air live onESPN 2, with nationally-renowned broadcasters John Buccigross (play-by-play) and Barry Melrose (color analyst) calling the game. DU is not very offensively challenged at all, they're close to a one-line team, with the Heinan/Doremus/Moore line putting up some pretty sick numbers. But lines 2 and 3 CAN score also. DU had three of the top-five scorers in NCHC conference play in Moore, Heinan, and LaLeggia. Shut down the top-5 of Heinan, Moore, Doremus, Leggs, and Zajac, and you'll probably win.

Also DU was the #1 offensive team in the NCHC.
