Dump Term 2 Part 4: Twilight of the Derps

No one gives a shit for anyone making under $100k...

The Working Class is going to be the biggest casualty of all this shit.
For the past ~40 years we’ve had the K-shaped economy when it comes to standards of living. Some economists are now saying that we’re seeing a double-K economy. This single K is where the top X% of income earners have seen their standard of living going up while the remainder have seen their standard drop. Now, however, we’re seeing yet another divide where people the top X% are still stealing theirs, but now there’s a Y and Z set of income earners where another split is happening between the lower strata. The lowest group is getting it shove up their bums deeper and harder while the upper-lower group either gains just a little or doesn’t take it as deep and harder while as the lowest bracket, but it’s hard to say this newer group/subgroup is really gaining much.

At this point, the GOP Congress should be held equally accountable for continuing to allow an extra-federal org that will likely funnel all or most (certainly >=47%) of the cash within that account to Donald J. Treason's personal holdings.

No one said anything when I asked about what I should ask my financial advisor. The account did pretty well last year, but it was nowhere near the 28% increase my homeowners insurance policy is going to have, or the massive increase in drug costs my family is going to experience.

But, hey, the economy is great for Jeff Bezos and he sucked off Melania so it's all good.

But, but, they claim to be the party of fiscal conservatism......... This administration just keeps piling onto the deficit.
I thought I read somewhere that we passed a milestones (yet again) where our debt was now greater than some financial metric, which only happens to third world countries and authoritarian regimes on the downhill slide.

Yep. We are a failed state. We have no legislature anymore. No rule of law. A tyrant in the White House. And a compliant 4th estate.

It is all over but the crying.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The federal prosecutor’s office in Minnesota has been gutted by a wave of career officials resigning or retiring over objections to Trump administration directives. Because of the turmoil, 12-time convicted felon Cory Allen McKay caught a break.

With a three-decade record of violent crime that includes strangling a pregnant woman and firing a shotgun under a person’s chin, McKay was scheduled to stand trial next month on methamphetamine trafficking charges that could have locked him up for 25 years. Instead, he walked free after the prosecutor on his case retired.

The Trump administration says its aggressive immigration enforcement in Minnesota has improved public safety. Left in its wake, though, is a greatly weakened U.S. attorney’s office, where many prosecutors resented the way President Donald Trump’s political appointees at the Justice Department managed them.

It's OK, at least the DOJ is able to hang up it's Nazi banners about making us safe again.
