My kid’s school sent out a message asking for parent volunteers to help guard pickup, drop off, and recess times. Being on leave for our second, I’m seriously considering doing some recess and pickup shifts.

If being undocumented was a criminal act, they would be entitled to a lawyer.

It doesn't fall under that 6th Amendment right because it's a process violation. It is the legal equivalent of a speeding ticket.
