Dump Term 2 Part 3: "But I Say Unto You, Hate Thy Enemies." -- Revulsions 5:44

The symbolism is a little too on the nose...

A typhoon swept through Western Alaska and has displaced over a thousand people, largely having to be evacuated to shelters in Anchorage. The area had received $20 million in federal funds to help with erosion and strengthen its infrastructure against storms.

The Dump administration rescinded the funds.

How have they responded?

Gleefully.
“To be brutally candid, due to the proactive cancellation of this grant, $20 million of hardworking U.S. tax dollars are currently sitting in the U.S. treasury instead of swept into the Kuskokwim River,” EPA press secretary Brigit Hirsch told the paper.

According to Hirsch, the infrastructure project — which was approved under a climate preparedness project from the Biden era — was just liberals wasting money by trying to make the world a better place, claiming that “partisans on the left would apparently prefer to have seen those precious tax dollars washed away.”

The Argentine peso has fallen below the level it reached before the US Treasury began purchases earlier this month, in a sign the Trump administration’s financial support is failing to halt the currency’s slide ahead of a crucial election for libertarian President Javier Milei.

The peso dropped almost 1 per cent on Monday to close at 1,477 against the dollar, a new record low, near the bottom of an exchange rate band adopted in April.
Another great investment...

I love how the White House is getting torn apart for the ballroom. Just another lie was told.

Rip the whole fucking thing down, Mr. Trump. You know you want to. Build a Gold Palace.
