Dump Term 2 Part 3: "But I Say Unto You, Hate Thy Enemies." -- Revulsions 5:44

After listening to a very powerful man talk politics near me and complain that he is being judged for voting for Trump. Excusing it by saying they're all the same and he didn't vote for the man's morality, but for his policies. I say this: Voting for President is a moral choice. Period. Full stop. There is no excuse, no justification on this planet that can square anyone voting for him. None. If humanity is going to survive that has to be true, or we are doomed. No matter what Bill Maher, Krysten Sinema, or Joe Manchin have to say about it. No matter how concerned Susan Collins gets. Republicans made their moral choice in 2004, 2016, and 2024 and look at what it has brought.

By the way, I kept my mouth shut. I have no interest in having someone want to punch my lights out again because they don't believe in facts.

Make a mistake once and it can be ignored. Make it multiple times you will be judged for it. 2016 I can excuse...2020 and 2024 I cannot. If last year you voted knowing this is what he was going to do (he fucking told us) then you are lucky you are only being judged harshly. If this was previous societies you would be dead in very unflattering ways.

"I didn't vote for his morality, I voted for his policies!"

Which makes you ignorant at best, given that his policies reflect his, and apparently this doofus', morality. And it makes you an immoral piece of shit just like the motherfucker you voted for.

Not if you are in a cult. Most cult leaders dont practice what they preach but their disciples love them for it and excuse it.

Trump is blaming Trump Derangement Syndrome for Rob Reiner's death.

And people are apparently shocked by this.
As I’ve seen mentioned elsewhere, it is clear that he posted this without knowing their son had been arrested and was being questioned. This is how he’ll react when a fan of his starts murdering people.

Posts like this are a reminder that I really don't miss business travel as much as I think I do. I can remember sitting at the bar eating dinner and overhearing claptrap about white male victimhood in 2016. I'm quite sure many of those same joints now host multiple parties who conduct such spew nightly.

Hell, the policies are worse.

Someone can have bad morals all they want, if they're just sitting their believing or saying awful things but not doing anything, that's not great, but at worse they're an annoyance to those around them; actually putting them into power and letting them turn those morals into actual policies that affects everyone's day-to-day life is much worse. Like, it sucks that Hitler was anti-semitic, but I think we'd all agree the whole genocide dealie was much more the issue than the book.

"Okay. But that's worse. You do get how that's worse, right?"

Why even ask if he's going to walk something back? The media's faux-indignation is pathetic at this point after they carried water for him for years. You know damn well he's not apologizing for or rephrasing anything. It's not in his nature.

Lets see...so we are going to declare war on a country that doesn't have weapons of mass destruction (Venezuela) and forget looking for who actually has them. (Big Pharma)
