By the time enough Americans realize we allowed too much power to be consolidated in an imperial executive (and in the hands of the worst one in the history of the country to boot) it will be too late. Either the rest of the world will be bombing us by the time we come to understand the terrible things we've let happen to our system, or we'll be doing it to each other (on a larger and much more lethal scale that we already are starting to see).

10 years ago I asked here what was gonna come first if we elected trump, a second American Civil War, or World War III. For the world's sake, hopefully we mostly confine the carnage to between our own shores.
 
There is a .000001% chance anyone could successfully bomb us unless it came from Canada or Mexico and that isn't happening.

Yeah, about the closest thing that could happen is someone like China lending material support in a civil war.

And even that’s highly unlikely.

Ukraine showed you can do a shitload of damage with drones fired from within the target country.

Our oceans aren't the protection they once were.
