Dump Term 2, Part 2: "A third term would be a big shattering."

Desi Lydic did a The Daily Show interview of Government employees that were axed by DOGE. I got more out of it then any "news" interview I've seen.

I've come to the conclusion that the DOGE plan (Project 2025 basically) is just about getting rid of people. It has nothing to do with saving money, or saving lives, or making Americans lives better. In fact as far as I can tell it is losing money, killing people, and making Americans miserable.

It's not just getting rid of people, it's specifically getting rid of dedicated civil servants -- the best people we have in this country.

Dump's kleptocracy runs on cynicism and the belief that everybody is a Republican: only in it for themselves, willing to slash others' throats for theft, thrills, or just to keep in practice. People like my wife were the exact refutation of that. She took a thankless job for a third of her private sector value to fight the fasc every day to try to help innocent people whose lives are being destroyed by Republicans. She was a good person, and they cannot permit good people to exist because it throws their evil into sharp relief. So she had to go.

Now they are floating the idea of reneging on her contractually promised pension and insurance. Because they are vicious. Full stop. This is government by rich sociopaths, voted in by poor sociopaths.

Yeah, and I just cannot understand no matter how hard I try that people vote for that. It's almost like they vote for it knowing it will bone them, but as long as the "other" gets boned they're happy.

Which literally makes no sense.

Yes they want to shrink the government but not strategically - their entire planning for this was:

No they don't...they want to shrink the parts they don't like. They expand the rest. Why do you think the Pentagon is set to get a trillion dollars at some point?

Social Services = cut
Military and Federal Agents = growth
