There were valid reasons -- at one time -- to defend Chuck Schumer. Sure as hell not anymore.

As a NY voter, I won't be putting a check mark in the box next to his name...
 
I will help campaign for Durbin's primary challenger in 2026 if he votes yes on either cloture or the spending bill.

He's going to make me enter my villain era.
 
Durbin sucks. He thinks if he just wags his finger on Twitter or in committee that is enough. He never lifted a finger to try and fight anything.

When the union for Federal Workers recommends a shutdown and you think you know better...than you are just as arrogant and stupid as Trump. You know what you call people who work with Nazis instead of fighting Nazis?

The Senate Dems think that having a bad budget to argue against will get us all fired up and ready to flip Congress in their favor. They are in for a rude awakening in the Midterms. (if there are Midterms) You dropped to your knees and gave up the one shot at leverage you had and most of your base knows it. You might hold the Centrist vote you just lost the Progressives and the Left. Sadly there is not much I can do...Klobuchar just won re-election and Tina Smith is a no and retiring.
 
DOGE fired part of the people in the Commerce Department responsible for promoting American corporations and exports overseas.
