The Senate Dems think that having a bad budget to argue against will get us all fired up and ready to flip Congress in their favor. They are in for a rude awakening in the Midterms. (if there are Midterms) You dropped to your knees and gave up the one shot at leverage you had and most of your base knows it. You might hold the Centrist vote you just lost the Progressives and the Left. Sadly there is not much I can do...Klobuchar just won re-election and Tina Smith is a no and retiring.

The problem with Schumer is he's stupid enough to think there is a difference between voting for the CR and voting against the CR.
There isn't. AOC figured that out. Some others have figured it out.
Their only play is to just not vote yes on anything the Republicans do. Boycott the whole thing and let them run the Government into the ground. Then maybe Americans will wake up, but I seriously doubt it. If women bleeding out in parking lots didn't do it, then nothing will.
