One more thing: Punchbowl reports that some Democratic senators are considering allowing the CR to proceed to a floor vote, lowering the threshold from 60 to 51 votes. Any such vote is the same as a vote for the CR but with even less integrity. Please encourage your colleagues to be better than this

They think we are stupid. They think if they allow this to go to a majority vote we wont blame them since the GOP will have voted for it. (they get cover since they know we will riot) That might fool the morons who don't know but the Dem base will know and so will the Progressives and the Left. If the Dems pull this move they not only end the Party, but Democracy is dead after November '26. The Midterms will be a Red Wave because Left turnout will die. What a phucking joke.

Why aren’t the Dems using the CR to hold DOGE’s feet to the fire? Anyone with half a brain knows it’s complete bs and the Dems are letting it slide.

Yup...that guy loses the plot mid-sentence sometimes. Silicon Valley is filled with man-babies who spent too much time thinking about open workstations and free snacks and not enough on how to actually do anything of value. AI will (hopefully) be their final death rattle.

Speaking of people with bad ideas, the guy being talked about in this clip is currently trying to get all Dems to allow for Cloture on the CR so it can pass.

Can someone explain what the big issue(s) are? My default going in assumption was that a CR can't do much harm, because it would just "continue" the current spending from 2024.

Doesn't seem so bad.

Have the republicans been sneaking additional conservative crap in there? If so, then the Republicans bear 100% of the blame.
