Dump Term 2, 1.01: Sleep Now in the Fire

So, looking ahead, we're like two generations minimum from correcting for just this first two months of Trump 2.0.

Best case: mid terms usher in enough Dems to "gum up the works" slowing Project 2025 to low gear. Then 2029 President Besheer with narrow house and senate trifecta work to hold serve on the budget and add employees. But we're now four years removed from the big cuts and new staff will be difficult to train. Economy starts to level off and maybe tick upwards (like it always does) under Dem leadership.

That puts us to 2031. How many MTGs, Boeberts, and Hawleys will come crawling out of the weeds during those midterms claiming that "Look, Dems just want to add to the debt, fuck them socialist kids, the economy wasn't humming at 4%, unemployment isn't below 4%, these Dems couldn't find their way out of a paper bag in a river."

Lather, rinse, repeat?
 
We're never getting out of this cycle. Never. Everyone wants their government services and no one wants to pay for them. Rinse, repeat.
 
Dow is down over 1000 today. The Democrats need to push out Trump's tweet about how any president should be impeached if the Dow drops 1000 points in two days. And say - OK we're on it!!

Facebook had been on a warpath labeling that tweet as false. They even hit people who simply tweeted an image of it

Do what they did in 1932: Let it go to depression with all of the effects that come with it, elect some real left-wing candidates, profit.

When we received our RTO, we are in 3 days/week, but >=4hrs PTO on any given day removes a required day in the office, or a severe weather situation. That said, we have more people assigned to our floor than there are seats. This far it’s not been an issue, but the government is 100% RTO, completely different results.
 
My mom just got incredibly upset hearing about the energy tariffs for mn mi and ny.

Michigan deserves all the pain. Mn and ny do not. Maybe they cam pray to allah for help
 
If you want to know ow why we are doomed go on YouTube and watch the latest Jubilee with Sam Seder from the Majority Report. 20 Trump Supporters of various races, sexes, orientations and so on. It's depressing how little they know and how stupid their takes are. It's easy to tell where they get their "facts" based on their reactions to his questions. They are literally as dumb as Trump. (Sam Seder knows his crap)

We as a society have failed. Gen Z is worse than Boomers and Gen X combined.
