One has to assume that the next step is Russia making a significant push forward, no?

Make things hurt for Zalenski and further show that the USA is not gonna aid and force the rest of Europe to scramble their defenses.

This as retaliation for Mexico's President extraditing 29 cartel members to the US so they can face trial here in the US? 😂
 
Europe need to begin the work of trying to isolate the U.S.
I don't know how, and have even more questions as to whether the public there has the intestinal fortitude to make it happen, but I don't percieve any other way forward for them.

Listening to the BBC and serious questions are being asked as to if the 80-year transatlantic partnership is now dead.

With what resources? Unless Trump announces he's going to shift resources from Ukraine to Russia, they're a paper tiger that has exhausted most their armament.

The whole thing is BS Zelenskyy had already agreed to the proposed deal if I heard right this was them wanting to make him grovel. That is the only reason Vance would be there. It alnost went to plan to until Trump starting talking about Russiagate and how Obama, Clinton and Biden set him up with the laptop from hell in Hunters bedroom. (He literally said all that)

If the U.S. pulls its support and there is no replacement from Europe, the only resources needed is bodies.

And Ukraine has NATO on their side...if Trump pulls support and Russia invades (which they will have to do at full bore) it's all over but the shouting.

Zelenskyy put his nuts on the table and made Dear Leader flinch and go on tilt. Problem is Trump doesn't react well and now likely forces the world to the brink of a very ugly conflict. The question is how long will Trump keep us out of it...

Pretty sure the EU said they are backing Ukraine if we won't. I know some of the member countries did for sure in part because Poland is next.

Russia will off the next two generations if it means they can relower the Iron Curtain.

Europe really needs to sack up, because yes, it is entirely clear Putin is more than willing to just dump Russian bodies into the fight until it is won. And make no mistake, while Ukraine was absolutely valiant in its defense during the first few months while the U.S. and Europe took time to mobilze behind them, they simply cannot win a war of attrition without a staunch and coordinated foreign backing.
 
No they cant...the EU knows that especially Germany. But they won't do anything concrete until we walk away for fear of Trump dumping NATO before they are ready.
 
I guess Zelenskyy didn't sign the deal and the PC about it had been canceled.

I take it back...I think they planned this to tank the deal.

At this point the US being in NATO is more dangerous.

"I'd rather have a Russian army in front of me than an American army behind me."

The GOP has completely destroyed everything this nation was.

I think Trump simply wanted great television. He said as much…on live television…like this is The Apprentice. America, you’re watching what running a business does to government. A frequently bankrupt pathetic sham of a business, but one nonetheless.

Well they’d need to now go to the ME for energy….does the donald have jared there now preparing to blackball them?
