This is bad on a scale unseen here. Every prediction all the fatalists made is coming true...only faster and with less resistance.Well I was wrong. We're fcked fcked.

They wouldn’t need a filibuster for budgets. By definition, that’s the only type of bill not required to overcome the filibuster, which is why whenever republicans have the trifecta, they steal everything that belongs to anyone making under $100k/yr. and give it to themselves. Not without democratic support. They can only force reconciliation through the filibuster.
Can they get enough votes to kill the filibuster for budgets is the big question.
Heh…Some of the Republican town halls have been hilarious.
They smart enough to go to the Town Hall and whine but their too dumb to understand that this is EXACTLY WHAT THEY VOTED FOR.
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. This country is dumb.
Sorry, meant debt ceiling. They wouldn’t need a filibuster for budgets. By definition, that’s the only type of bill not required to overcome the filibuster, which is why whenever republicans have the trifecta, they steal everything that belongs to anyone making under $100k/yr. and give it to themselves.
Now, they can kill the filibuster for any specific carveout they want with only a majority vote, so yes, yes of course they have that support. I’m sure they first want to cut trillions in taxes for themiddle classmillionaires and billionaires they love most. But what’s stopping them otherwise? Tradition, Hovey? Fear of Democrats doing the same if they ever retake the majority again? Thanks for disappearing once your “Everything is fine” shtick blew up like one of our daily plane crashes.
The one in Georgia was hilarious! Some of the Republican town halls have been hilarious.

Our newly elected Rep here in Alaska did a virtual one where every single person asking questions was screened heavily beforehand. The one person who dared ask about anything real was quickly cut off.The one in Georgia was hilarious!
Now GOPers are skipping them especially with farmers.
But the Facebook comments were mostly critical, especially as the moderator let through questions that some viewers complained were softballs. Those included: How do we contact your office, and what does America First mean to you?
“Yeah . . . that was definitely a softball question,” a Facebook user wrote.
“Are you even going to address any of the concerns being brought up ... or just continue cherry-picking the softballs from your supporters?” another commenter wrote.
Then the moderator put a man named Joel through.
“Joel, it looks like you've got a question about bipartisanship and working across the aisle. Is that correct?” the moderator asked.
“That's right,” Joel said.
But he quickly shifted to a different topic.
“I'm a lifelong Republican,” Joel said. “But I am in the majority, I think, with a lot of Americans, a lot of Alaskans, that are really concerned that we have an executive branch that is more than willing to push or remove the guardrails that are on the executive branch and what we need from Congress and from the courts is to play that checks and balances role, not not to oppose obviously —”
He broke off. Listeners heard nothing but static.
“Joel, looks like we may have lost your line,” the moderator said. “If you're still there … Joel? All right, looks like we may have lost Joel.”
All the colored folk.Well I was wrong. We're fcked fcked.
