Dump Term 2, 1.01: Sleep Now in the Fire

This article says it all about who we elected.

https://www.the-independent.com/news...-b2683911.html

The man is pure evil without a single ounce of humility or empathy. Don't expect the worse, know the worse is coming.

Oh, you mean him refusing to sign the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday proclamation during his flurry of Executive Orders?

That his staff chased the media out of the room so they wouldn't see his negligence? Only reason it was found out was the PBS live stream left their record button on a little longer than they should have.

I think the Dems should use Trump’s vanity to their advantage where they can. There is a huge opportunity to pass meaningful legislation and it would be a shame to waste it. Obviously oppose him on stuff like the environment and withdrawing from the WHO but don’t oppose him just for the sake of opposing him.

A broken clock is right twice a day.

In that, you have the same thought that I've seen bandied about. Want to pass some Green New Deal type sh*t? Slap Trump's name to everything. High speed rail connecting multiple cities? Trump Train. Wanna bring back those windmills? Trump Power. Replacement of crumbling bridges? The Donald J. Trump Bridge. Bury I-94 in the Twin Cities? Trump Underpass. Treat it like his buildings, slap his name on 'em, have him trot out with a giant pair of scissors, and let's get this shit moving forward.

Gee I wonder where all this wonderful legislation that is meant to benefit the masses rather than the 1%/MAGA Drew thinks is going to come from.

Trump also discontinued the EO LBJ signed that banned discrimination in Federal Contracting positions. Gee I wonder why he did that...

I am sure John Fetterman is bigly worried about it...

Donnie orders all federal health agencies to cease communications with the public.

So, good luck knowing when the next killer pandemic is racing through the country, or the next time there's a major food contamination killing people.

The Lincoln Project: "Trump OMB nominee and Project 2025 architect Russell Vought believes that "mandatory programs" like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are "a benefit hammock..keeping people out of the workforce." The cruelty is the point with MAGA."

It started long before MAGA. When FDR got Social Security passed, the GOP screamed it would result in Bolshevism. And when LBJ proposed Medicare, the AMA hired Ronald Reagan to rail against it. In a recorded live album, Reagan "criticized Social Security for supplanting private savings and warned that subsidized medicine would curtail Americans' freedom" and that "pretty soon your son won't decide when he's in school, where he will go or what he will do for a living."

Fear-mongering has been in the GOP DNA for more than a century. Trump is just the latest--and best--practitioner.

But Project 2025 was Leftist Fearmongering I thought...

Medical research completely stopped.

whar this means is that when village idiots wife gets some new super std in the gulf of America between her legs, we’ll have no idea how to treat it

Anyone who says it wasn’t an sig heil should be comfortable doing it, say, at work.

Look sometimes i admit we go too far with this based on a photo but that was 100% a Nazi salute. You can tell even some in the crowd were shocked by it.

Lots of side by sides of Nazis and him and it is a perfect match. Hell I bet if you went to AI and had it make a video of Elon doing a Nazi Salute it would look exactly the same.

As a Jew who abhors the overuse of the word Nazi this one is on point. That guy knew what he was doing.

I think Joe Biden was a teenager the last time Republicans passed any meaningful* legislation.

*helping the 99% more than the 1%

Good. With their morals that will wipe out the derps in a generation.

The Four Horsemen are our friends. They always cull the Poors and the violent fastest.
