Donnie's got a lot of shit planned that's gonna cost a shitload of money(deportations, tariffs, tax cuts to billionaires) and he's gotta come up with the money to pay for that somehow.
Getting rid of the debt ceiling means the Dems can't use it to block him from doing these things, Just like how the Repubs did it to block everything Democrats proposed. Getting rid of it, Donnie can borrow and spend to his little demon heart's pleasure, with no way to stop him or tell him no.
Donnie's not a Republican. Donnie just wants to do what's good for Donnie. And that means shoveling government money into Donnie's pockets. Same thing Elon wants to do with his.
