Since many schools broadcast their home games these days, I think it would be a good idea for local stations to show away games via the opposing teams' feeds. That way fans can watch away games, but stations don't have to spend money on travel, production, etc...

I know why Frank Mazzocco is no longer broadcasting Gopher hockey. DU stole his toupee and is currently using it as their logo.

5-4 Denver (F - OT). Good game Denver.

Better to end the OT streak now than in March.

Not really. :)

Denver played well and so did UMD for the most part. So, there isn't much you can say really. UMD spots Denver a 3-0 lead, scores four unanswered, gives up the obligatory last minute in regulation goal and then fails to win or tie in OT for the first time this year (falling to 11-2-11 in their last 24 OT games).

well, its only one of the three big games in Duluth this weekend. 2 outta 3 wouldn't be bad.

Things could always be worse, you could be like Tech.

Sure sounded like a classic WCHA hockey game, two heavyweights going at it with all they have.

Attended the game...Crandall could not stop a beach ball, but goalies sometimes have a clunker like this. With Great Brittian in net, I thought tUMD was screwed. But Average Brittian showed up and tUMD kicked it in gear like good teams do. Denver got a break on the tying goal, as it was shot from the corner goal line and went off a tUMD player and ended up in the net.

Noticed Denver had a player named North Shore on the ice. In OT, tUMD neglected his bro, Duluth Shore, and he buried the game winner. Terry Mattson ****ed tUMD did not get these guys to promote local tourism.
