DU Battles Boston (BC 10/14 and BU 10/15)

Re: DU Battles Boston (BC 10/14 and BU 10/15)

I wish I could travel for the games. Wedding planning and money is keeping me here.

As far as Swami, he is away due to extenuating circumstances. That's all I can really say for him.

Come on Peter, tell the truth! Tell what really happened to Tom. Oh forget it, I'll tell, he is now a closet CC Tiger fan living next to the Boardmoor!!

FYP.

It was only a matter of time before a limp-wristed fanboy chimed in with the "Durrrrr... BC isn't in Boston....... *drool*" post.

And it was only a matter of time before you come flying in to have some over-dramatic reaction to it. He was simply letting Denver fans know in case they were coming out here for the games and might get lost searching Boston for Conte. It was actually pretty considerate of him. silly nick

Don't take too much of what Nick says seriously.

Lee,

I know for sure that's not the case. haha

At the moment, it's not something that needs to be discussed.

Fun fact: George Gwozdecky's daughter Adrienne is a freshman at BU and a student manager for the hockey team.

The Pioneers return 17 letterwinners from last season's team that finished 25-12-5 overall and 17-8-3 second-place mark in the WCHA. DU qualified for its school-best fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament and 22nd overall. DU recorded its 10th consecutive season with 21 or more wins and joined Michigan as the lone teams in Division I men's hockey to accomplish 20 or more wins in each of the last 10 seasons.

Boston College handed DU its first nonconference home sweep since 1991 with 6-2, 3-0 wins over the Pioneers on Oct. 15-16, 2010.

Denver meets Boston University for the first time since the Terriers posted a 4-1 win over the Pioneers for the Denver Cup championship on Jan. 3, 2009.

You are aware that the article said about 6 of the 141 arrests were BU students, that BU had a meeting about it that attracted a whopping 35 students, and that its a group of students from about 10 colleges in Dewey Square one of those schools being BC, right?

As for the event itself I basically agree with Steve, I'm fine with them doing it, and I'm fine with the police establishing guidelines and arresting those who disobey them.
