Last night's game was an exhibition of dreadful division 1 hockey. Neither team sustained a period of excellence in any element of the game, and frankly because of that, rendered the contest [nearly] unwatchable for lengthy stretches of time. Based on the lack of verve and fire on the ice shown by both teams, the casual observer would have had no way of knowing this is a "so-called" heated rivalry. The game itself was a clear demonstration why Denver has been a run-of-the-mill team this season. The fact it was CC's fifth victory of the season underscores how pathetic the Tigers' season has been thus far. I think tonight's game can only be better. At least I hope so for the paying customers in attendance.
