Pios have scored more than Team USA did in the last 2 days
BTW Both last nite and tonite a tggie player scored his 1st goal of the season--don't you hate that?
Glad to see Matt Tabrum with a goal. In all candor, of the forwards returning from last year's team he has had the most disappointing season this year. I anticipated more from him this season and he has failed to deliver.
I don't want to hear any more garbage about how those millionaire NHL types are "pregnant with celestial fire" at playing in the Olympics. The "if we don't get the gold who gives a sh*t attitude" isn't exactly what Pierre de Coubertin had in mind. Yeah, it was a tough loss to the Canadians. So what? There were Olympic medals on the line. You don't 'phone in the bronze medal game. Losers. Babies. Made America proud.
Hello, operator? Yeah, I'd like the number for 1-800-We're Outta Here.
Viva's right there with him. Given the way he played the second half last year and early in this, it looked like he was on his way to a big season (which we desperately needed). Instead, raging mediocrity.
I disagree. Larraza had an injury which cost him 7 or 8 games. Tabrum has played all year and been a ghost.
Can somebody give a score here?

The TV face is going on about how the '80 Olympic team changed what people (perhaps the general public) thought about the caliber of collegiate players. He's evidently not heard of Keith Magnuson, who went from DU to the cover of SI in leading the Hawks from last to first. Maggie helped general managers rethink the college game. I don't much care what Archie Bunker (or some 3rd tier announcer) thinks.
Then the next year, with a year's eligibility left, Craig Patrick's dad signed George Morrison for the Blues. George had been two time WCHA scoring champ. 70 goals in two seasons!
