Does Brown care about women's hockey?

Re: Does Brown care about women's hockey?

SHHHH --- no need to put the number of years - YIKES!! I remember Romper Room and the "doobees" and "dontbees" - always with the kids to be a GOOD doobee,, be Helpful, not Hurtful... I would like to give the same advice!!

I just googled Romper Room and I'm listening to the "Do Bee" song right now. Doesn't seem to be ringing bells but I do remember the "Jupiter" song. You know, "reach for the stars, stand on tippy toes, there is Mars". Or something like that. Then there was "romper bomper stomper boo, tell me tell me tell me who, magic mirror tell me today, did all my friends have fun at play". I see, Billy and Tommy and Rhonda and jean...........I swear, they never said my name, ever!

You must be baby sitting again. Well, I suppose you can't be watching Alien or something more interesting with a youngin' running about.

When I was in kindergarten we used to make those cars. I got in trouble for T-boning a little curly haired blonde with no sense of driving skills, or humor.

Re: Does Brown care about women's hockey?

Well, being a good dooby, I knew exactly what you meant. And I agree.

Apparently that concept was lost on a few players. We have seen posts regarding the "suicide" of speaking up regarding Miss Murphy and Co. Well, how about when an individual fails citizenship 101, repeatedly, and the coach goes to bat for her with the school's administration to keep her in the program, only to have that player turn around and "speak up" and start a mutiny. It should be no surprise when the coach kicks the player off the team.

Really Hux? And obviously you won't back up your statement with name so how about seasons? Which season did that happen?

Question....who thinks he continued to try that strategy for getting dates as an adult? :p

Not babysitting, just working a shift tonight instead of today! Just thinking about possibly getting motivated to like do laundry or something constructive. Sitting here with coffee!

"My" name was called all the time, leading me to believe that adults really can see you from everywhere:(

Probably because people with integrity who have inside knowledge or conversations in confidence with said people treat all involved parties with respect.

It is a priveledge to be on a team, or part of a team. If you don't think so, then don't play. If you are indeed an insider with an axe to grind, grind it from within.

Do you think it's a coincidence that people are reverting to talking about childhood experiences in this thread?

I don't, because everytime you post you remind me of a whiney baby.

Like I tell the people I work with, "Don't be a part of the problem, be a part of the solution." You, as has been stated here often, are either part of the problem, or are working very dilligently to be a problem.

Really Cookie ?....You think those who frequently have conversations of a confidential nature with various coaches and recruiters would divulge that kind of information with vendetta inspired gossipers like you ?. Fat Chance.

Ah the memories...I have to confess I was actually on Romper Room with Miss Betty :o ! Until today I didn't realize it wasn't a local TV show up here but franchised around the world.

The words to the exercise song were: Bend and stretch, reach for the stars, there goes Jupiter, here comes Mars. Bend and stretch, reach for the sky, up on tippy toes, way up high.

Can't say I remember the cardboard cars though.
