No disrespect to Neil Musselwhite (who looks like he will in this week), but I do not think he would/should be in the running for POTY.

I think it should be set up just like the POTY where people nominate/make their case for a player and then put it to a vote!



BUT we should do it like the electoral college based on attendance...Utica & Oswego voters get the most electoral college votes! ha ok ok just kidding...

What if we grant the POTW winners an AQ into the poll, and then allow nominations for any others at-large bids? :cool:

IMO, only any 2 or more time POTW's deserve an AQ, plus maybe the top 2 highest percentage winners not otherwise receiving an AQ and/or maybe even the top percentage winner from each Region not otherwise receiving an AQ. The rest should come through nomination, to help reduce the chances of "personal bias" resulting in a "one-hit wonder" being the POTY.

We can call all AQ into the poll POOL A and any at large nominations POOL B!

Hmmmm...should we make POOL A nominees come from a week with a minimum of competitors? :p :D

NAHHHH..if we did this, an Adrian player would win POTW during a week there were only 2 or 3 nomiations and thus be denied a POOL A bid into the POTY! :D


In all seriousness...I think giving POTW winners an AQ into the poll would be fine with me!
