Re: DIII game notes
Definitely a bit of conference-shuffling the last few days... Hobart announces they're moving to the NEHC (but William Smith is staying put in the UCHC for the women)... Johnson & Wales and Suffolk moving to the NEHC for Men and Women... Salem State moving to the NEHC for Women only... and now Salve Regina and UNE join the CHC.
As of right now, the 2018-19, barring any further announcements, looks like this for the women:
Colonial Hockey Conference (7)
Becker
Canton
Endicott
Morrisville
Nichols (announced last year)
Salve Regina
Univ. of New England
ECAC-West [SUNYAC?] (5)
Buffalo State
Cortland
Oswego
Plattsburgh
Potsdam
MIAC (10)
Augsburg
Bethel
Concordia (MN)
Gustavus Adolphus
Hamline
St. Benedict
St. Catherine
St. Mary's
St. Olaf
St. Thomas
NCHA (7)*
Adrian
Concordia (WI)
Finlandia
Lake Forest
Marian
St. Norbert
St. Scholastica
NEHC (9)
Castelton
Johnson & Wales
Mass.-Boston
New England College
Norwich
Plymouth State
Salem State
Southern Maine
Suffolk
NESCAC (9)
Amherst
Bowdoin
Colby
Conn. College
Hamilton
Middlebury
Trinity
Wesleyan
Williams
UCHC (10)
Chatham
Elmira
King's
Lebanon Valley
Manhattanville
Neumann
Stevenson
Utica
Wilkes
William Smith
WIAC (4)
UW-Eau Claire
UW-River Falls
UW-Stevens Point
UW-Superior
*I imagine that Northland will eventually join the NCHA Women's Conference, but I can't seem to find any announcements to that effect.
** You will note that I left the DI/DII teams out. Their little "scheduling partnership" is technically only 1 season, isn't technically a conference, and they are now completely irrelevant.
