Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Well, we're through the 8th.

We're still not safe.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Letting the tying runner take 2nd base.

Bold move Cotton, let's see if it pays off.

6-5 final.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Walks through door, sees that KC is up 9-0 in the fifth, and turns on something else.

CUTHBERT!!

11-0 Royals, bottom 5.

I hope they score 20.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Good Lord. Guido's throwing meatballs tonight.

Randy Wolfe and Guido Knudsen are pitching for the Tigers tonight. That should tell you everything you need to know about what is going on in KC tonight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I'm not going to bother posting a questionable YouTube video.

Just head over to HowToBasic and watch the whole collection.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

6-3 KC with 0 out in the bottom of the 2nd.

We can continue to watch the football game of our choice for the duration of the evening.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Only gave up eight runs tonight. Two runs better than their average over the prior six games.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I think that as soon as mr I is no longer in charge we are in for a change. He was willing to spend money. his kids,.... not so much.

Yup. I've been saying that for a while. The Ilitch kids were involved in the years prior to Dombrowski's arrival. That should tell you plenty right there. And from what I've heard and read, Ken Holland has just about had it up to here with Chris Ilitch already, over at the Joe. Either way, this team may have to be sold to cover estate tax purposes, as Mrs I cannot take ownership due to her holdings in Motor City Casino. MLB's kinda funny about that sort of stuff.

And as I broke down before, this team can't go much south of $165 next year without some serious problems. They were at about $171 this year, I think.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

If JD plays right field properly there, that run doesn't score.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

So...Al Al isn't effective. I got an idea. Let's use Gorzelanny! He's sure to get us out of this jam...

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I suspect that the Nick Castellanos Called Third Strike is going to go down in Tiger lore. Right next to the Brandon Inge Check Swing Third Strike.
