Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

If they're looking this long, we're going to be on the wrong end of this call. Again.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Nice peg by JD.

Watch Texas challenge that and have us take it in the poop chute again.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

If they're stopping the game to wait on someone getting drilled by a foul ball, it's serious.

Enough ****ing around, MLB. You can put nets/fences up to protect the players (you know, the pros who are qualified to catch hot shots like that), but you can't extend the nets at least the length of the dugouts? You have no reaction time there, even if you're paying attention.

If someone gets killed by a line drive foul ball in a seat where they cannot possibly react (God forbid), I hope their family sues the nipples right off of your tits.

It's going to be Tuesday before Lamont makes it to the mound.

And it might be Wednesday before Feliz gets us out of this inning.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

There's not a hell of a lot our hitters can do (Victor swinging at strike three above his eyeballs exempted) when the outside part of the strike zone is as wide as a Buick.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I just saw the replay of the call that got Ausmus tossed. Unbelievable that even with replay they can blow a call that badly.

JV's ERA is now <4.00, but he's got a 1-6 record to show for it.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Ump boned us on that outside corner in the 9th.

Tom Glavine in the 90's thought those were off the plate.

He's given up 2 or fewer earned runs in six of his last eight starts. Verlander's been Verlander, more or less.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I think that gives away what kind of luck they've had this season.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Shane Greene's season is done. Dude had an aneurysm in his right hand. Somehow.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

The Tigers went from 'Big lead and Buck Farmer pitching a no-no' to 'Tom Gorzelanny coming in to stop a dumpster fire' so quickly that I'm almost impressed.

EDIT: *extending a dumpster fire.

Well, then. I'm so glad I came home from running errands to see....this. Down 4-rock in the 1st.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Tied now.

Maybe I shouldn't have run errands in the first place.
