Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

You should probably do the reverse homer light for the rest of the season.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Gose is hurt...but not injured.

I should not have to explain further.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Oh, dear Lord, not Feliz.

At this point I'd rather see Phil Coke than Feliz.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Holy Lord, if that's not blocking the plate, then I don't know what is.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I give up.

If it's going to go like that, then run the ****ing catcher over.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Hey, Gibby, just where the hell was Iggy supposed to slide?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I wish we still had Leyland. He would've gone Earl Weaver on that call. He always knew how to pump up the team with an ejection.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

This is going to get out of control here shortly.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

His foot is off the base.

And we're not going to challenge. It's only the 9th inning and we're down a run.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Not sure why we didn't challenge. I also don't remember the rule about getting another past the 7th, I thought it was just up to the umpires then. We would've lost it anyway, just because.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

"Could have blocked the plate?"

Wieters parked a freaking bus on the foul line.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

So we got screwed on two calls and chose not to challenge in the 9th on another.

Let me guess, he thought it was too close and saving it for extras?

So there you have your explanation. I agree with Ausmus, it's ludicrous, I also agree with Ausmus, if he's going to block the plate like that we should run him over. I think hammer said that also.
Totally unprofessional of weiters to do that. I mean what are we supposed to do, slide 15 feet from the bag.? having said all that, we score 7 runs you'd think we would win.
