I believe he's safe there. This is not a good inning for Iggy.

CASTELLANOS!!!

1-1, top 5

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

THERE'S the Shane Greene we've seen the last couple months.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Well, Greene had a good four innings.

I had to laugh at Wrecking Ball getting played.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Four of the last seven pitches have been absolutely blasted for hits and you have the fifth guy bunt the ball?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I think we've seen the last of Shane Greene in the rotation for a while.

ORTIZ!!!

11-1, bottom 7

It's that time of the game, folks.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

We're so close to the 2nd wild card, but it just can't happen with this bullpen. Especially not when the rotation only has 2.5 decent pitchers.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

We're 2 games under .500 after tonight's fiasco on national TV. We're not in contention, regardless of the standings. This pitching staff is leaking so much oil, the driver of the Exxon Valdez wants a part of it. We just showed all of America our asses tonight.

We cannot contend with Alfredo Simon and Shane Greene/whichever flunkie we find this week in Toledo at the back end of this rotation. And that's not even going into what we think we're gonna do once the 5th inning is over.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I find it incredible that every person ever says Trammel should be in the hall, yet none of them are voters. Essentially .01% of the baseball community is keeping him out.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

He'll be a VC pick. So will Morris. God only knows when.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

The Rays cover up 11,000 seats with tarps.

I hear Montreal is looking for a team again...

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I see Jefry Marte pinch-hit for Anthony Gose, and the only logical reason for that is that Gose was traded or has died. Either way, congrats to him on finding a way out of this mess.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I just got home. Virtually nothing you could possibly tell me would be surprising at this point.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Kyle Ryan back to Toledo. Shane Greene to the bullpen. Buck Farmer recalled.

I'm not sure this is an upgrade.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Okay, the pitch location sucked, but that was a chicken**** home run.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Rod & Mario almost got themselves in trouble there.

"There's not much they can do for Hickox there". Especially when it hits Hickox's....uh....cox.
