Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

umm, Kinsler is 10 for his last 32. so that's a bit better than 190.

I looked at MLB.com early in the game, and they've got him in the .260's in May, and in the .240's in June, so I have no idea where they got that stat yesterday. One of these days I'm going to learn to look stuff up before I plaster it all over the net.

Of all people. Ezekiel Carrera busts up the no-hit bid in the 8th.

This little ****-**** couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat when he played here.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

You watch. Alex Wilson is going to blow his arm out.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I can't believe that we're going to go from 7-0 and a no-hit bid to 8-6 and a save situation.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

The way we're going, I'm not real confident in Soria in the 9th. He might give up a 3-spot.

And of course, Ausmus will sit there, scratch his balls and watch.

J.D.!!!

3-0, 4 batters in.

There's your new cleanup hitter. How long before they start walking him?

Sadly, even with the most potent offense in the bigs, my Jays are going nowhere if they don't get some pitching help.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Ten years ago yesterday Justin Verlander made his first MLB start. A few seasons later, he was the best in the game. In ten minutes, he'll take the mound again, simply trying to remain average.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

And today he should hit 2,000 innings pitched.

We're 6 pitches into the game and the Jays dugout is already chirping at the umpire.

And sloppy play by our defense hands the Jays an early 1-0 lead.
