Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Hooray, JD hit in the hand! Just two more injuries until we can become the Detroit Mud Hens!

Well, he's staying in the game, so that's good. Now Castellanos is up to ruin a perfectly good bases loaded opportunity.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Pelfrey, Santana, Hughes, Gibson for the Twins.

Price, Verlander, TBD, TBD for the Tigers.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Meatball Simon for game 3. BP throwing Farmer or Greene for 4.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Likely to be Farmer. Greene still hasn't figured it out in Toledo.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Only Buck Farmer highlights I've ever seen are of him looking back over his shoulder at homeruns.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Well pitching is certainly an issue. I for one hope they sign two and soon. Cueto would be great, so would Chapman, but we really need at least one more starter.
Even during spring training, when JD hits the ball, it does indeed make a different sound than most and you can hear it all over the ball park.

KINSLER!!!

1-0, 2 pitches in.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

This is going to script so far. Low scoring, Twins threaten but never really score.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Can we get a ****ing competent 3rd baseman? This broke-dick has singlehandedly cost us 2 runs this inning, and has taken at least an inning off of Price's outing tonight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

So, let me get this straight. We can put fencing around the dugouts, to protect people who are trained to play this game, but we can't extend the netting at least down the dugouts to protect the people who pay for this whole thing, who are NOT trained to play this game, and simply don't have the time to react, even if they are paying attention?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Yeah, he was out, but I don't mind them sending Krauss home there.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

That's not a home run, from that vantage point.

I changed the channel before I could see the law firm, but 30 mil for sexual harassment? I hope that was a class action, otherwise some poor woman must've been groped like 6000 times by every man in the company.

It's the Bernsteins. What did you expect?

My favorite was the $56 mil for the jailhouse death. Some of those derelicts probably made no more than $2.16 in their entire lives without selling crack, and the Bernsteins get 8 figures from the jail.

At least they're not putting on the 500-pound guy with the mu-mu that probably tried to deep-fry his neck, or the half-literate black lady who can hardly read the cue cards.

4-2 final

Nice win

That was fine. But there was zero reason to keep Krauss in the game instead of pulling him for either Davis or Romine to pinch run, both of whom score easily on that play.
