Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

This is just what we needed after going 14 innings last night. Everybody but Jack Morris pitched last night, and Simon is getting bombed in the 3rd inning.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I had it on mute until now.

Gibby is doing color for tonight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Miggy has smoked a few people with his glove today. Wouldn't surprise me if they buzzed him when he comes to bat.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Okay, that's enough of Chamberlain. Get this fat **** off the roster.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

This is the worst defensive game I've seen us play in a long time.

Maybe they need to get in a brawl. something to light a fire under their overpaid butts. Joba came in and the Comerica emptied up. We really only stayed mostly because we figured the crowd would thin out later, and that there was a nasty wreck on US-23 near the 94 interchange and that would be a mess to get through there if we left early.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

You could have avoided that by getting off 94 at 12 and backroading it home.

Rumblings are that the Tigers have called up Jeff Farrell, a reliever from Toledo who spent almost all of the year at AA-Erie. Good numbers in AA, 1 inning for Toledo on Monday night. They made him a reliever this year, as he was starting to get bombed as a starter. It looks like that move might have worked. He is not on the 40-man roster, so if this happens, someone is getting DFA'd tomorrow.

We heard that the backup on 94 was pretty bad, and we figured we might as well enjoy our time there. Normally I take 12 anyways.

Ferrel and Ver Hagen recalled. No idea on the other half of these moves.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Fat Joba and Gorzelanny have both been DFA'd.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Ian Kinsler is hitting about .190 over the last 40 games, and our rocket scientist of a manager thinks it's a good idea to hit him leadoff.

Also Avila is back.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Ausmus thinks he should put his 5 best hitters at the top of the lineup. You don't say....

He makes Phil Garner look like Casey Stengel.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Toronto looks like a little league team in the field all of a sudden.
