Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Dear Mr. Martinez:

I did not realize your jaw was located squarely between your eyeballs.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Aw, Christ. Now the bullpen is going to be an issue.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Miggy out of this game. If this goes past the 9th, we're screwed.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Benoit for a 4-out save. I don't think I like this.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

After 2006 I still get nervous about pitchers throwing the ball to 1st.

3-2 final.

Max has our last two wins.

I don't know who the color guy on TBS is, but we don't even have an out and his voice is annoying me.
I believe the color guy was a red sox broadcaster and the play by play guy I think is from Atlanta.
Didn't like either of them particularly, but better than jack buck. Personally I'd pick gary thorne.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

So....Jhonny is on the active roster. Would love to know why...

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

CB Bucknor behind the plate. Uh-oh. How guys like he, Fat Joe West and Angel Hernandez get post-season assignments is beyond me.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Hey, Torii. You butthurt about that brushback pitch? Line one right back up the box.

Or strike out. Whichever.

Don Orsillo (PxP)
Eck (color)

Don does Sox and Eck filled in for Jerry Remy when he took a leave of absence to deal with family issues.

Miggy got spiked there. Part of the game.

Actually, Miggy spiked himself.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 6: The Al Kaline edition

Uh-oh. The Juggalos are getting restless in Oakland.

Between the Juggalos and playing City councilwoman Reeves' "Dancin in the Street' between innings, it's like Oakland is trolling Detroit with the worst of us.

Also...no way this game ends well.
