Tigers pitching has 711 Ks before the All-Star break, setting an AL record and edging out the Yankees at 710.

And, hopefully, they'll keep adding to that today.

ESPN's coverage of this is lazier than usual. Prince goes yard on one, and I've got a blimp shot of the stadium followed by Kruk eating god only knows what while George Brett talks. Suddenly they show the ball splashing.

Well, they were ribs. I think he's eaten about two cows worth.

Right next to George Brett, no less, in the middle of an interview.

To be fair, Kruk eats more in any given waking 3-hour time span than any of us do in 3 days.

Verlander is apparently gettin' a little sumthin' sumthin' from Kate Upton. Not particularly bad.
