It official. The Little Caesars commercial people need to be beaten with shovels.

And we're done here.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Why did I know it was THAT commercial before I even clicked?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Swing the ****ing bat with 2 strikes. You can't take a called 3rd on a fastball like that.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Sooooo....which side of the infield does Fielder hit it to in order to GIDP to end it?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Or not. Maybe Delmon is going to do the deed.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

You know just how far Danny Worth has fallen when Gump is on deck to pinch-hit.......and it makes perfect sense.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Soooo....about that hole Legendary Lloyd supposedly found in Boesch's swing.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Apparently clubhouse doors were closed a little longer than normal, and DD was in the clubhouse. They're acting a little funny on the postgame as well. I don't know what to make of this, if anything at all.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Worth and Marte to Toledo. Ortega recalled. Not sure of the other move.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Darin Downs is going to be called up as well. He's not on the 40-man, so there's another move coming tomorrow.

Darin Downs: 27 years old, 1st trip to The Show.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Duane Below starts tomorrow instead of Scherzer (hamstring). Scherzer will only miss one start.

Someone is getting DFA'd tomorrow, apparently someone in the minors.

All info is from Brian Britten's (Director of Media Relations for the Tigers) Twitter feed.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Dontrelle Willis retired today. :(

I gotta admit. I liked the guy.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

All right. we've staked Below to a 2-run lead. Raburn and Boesch, of all people, have clutch hits. Now let's see what happens.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

And Below gives it right back. *shakes head*

If someone were to throw that to Cabrera, he would have bounced that off the scoreboard.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

A balk and a wild pitch didn't help matters before that.

Below is done. The high 80's grapefruit over the heart of the plate sealed his fate.
