Raburn!

Got greedy with Verlander. Still an excellent performance.

I think I read that Cruz's contract is up this year, bet the Mets sign him.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 2 - The Charlie Gehringer version

He would be a great addition to any NL team next season.

Coke with some huge pitches. Three more outs.

He better go to the NL. Flashing 1-0-0 with your hands after going yard on JV is a good way to get a 1-0-0 pitch in your ear next May if he stays in the AL.

That makes two on the Verlander Earhole List for 2012. The guy from Anaheim (Izturis, I think) and now Cruz.

Sadly, after that little outburst, Cruz is still classier than the whole St. Louis Cardinals organization...

I really dislike Cruz. I was there and it is sad he does so well and is such a jerk. He has always had a lot of potential but never delivered quite.Him Leaving his feet on the vmart triple gave up an additional base at least. I am worried though about the next game because we cannot win giving up 5 runs again.

Well it was obvious that the only reason JV was left in the game was because our bullpen is shot. 133 pitches? C'mon. Cruz would be a perfect fit with the Cards, btw. Now- in Texas- it's up to Scherzer to get to the 7th inning and give the offense a chance. These guys are hurt and spent, but they get full marks from me if they lose the series. Tough losing Boesch and Maggs from the lineup then having VMart, Young and Avila hurt on top of the Jackson etc. slump.

Leyland waving the white flag by bringing Schlereth in with them loaded...sigh.
