Delmon is back in the lineup today, batting 5th. V-Mart channeled his inner-Yogi last night and said the only way he wouldn't play today is if he woke up in the morning and was dead.

May be moot- it's raining in Detroit, and if I read the pattern right, it will for quite a while. Coming from the south, in a NNW direction. May finish by 6pm, weather underground has it stopping somewhere between 5 and 8 pm tonight.

Normally I'd say that was unconventional, but that double play was just pure luck that the ball didn't end up in left-center.

Pretty much. I'm kind of sick of wishing Porcello could last more than 6 innings without getting lit up. Won't be a problem after today.

Dear Mr. McCarver:

There has already been a visit to the mound during this hitter. If you go to the mound again during the same at bat, the manager is ejected, and the pitcher must finish the hitter, after which he is ejected.

Mix in a rule book.

That was a Raburn-esque piece of baserunning out of the Rangers there. And nearly a fiasco for us.
