GUILLEN!!!

3-0, bottom 7

There's some chirping going on.....and Weaver has been run.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

Weaver's a mental midget. Just like his big brother.

...and Weaver has been run.

92 mph at a player's head will do that to you.

Don't know what started it, but Magglio said something to Weaver the previous inning, to which Weaver called him a mother****er, and then Guillen made sure to rub it in after that home run. Just an awesome game.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

I wonder how much leeway Verlander is going to get if he pitches inside, all things considered.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

What the monkey **** was that, Kelly?!? You god**** near chased him across home plate.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

No-hitter shot to hell on a single to left with 2 out in the 8th.

We got another issue. It's 3-2 now.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

Now the no-no is gone and it's a close game. Why couldn't Kelly just go to first?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

Apparently Scioscia got the hook along with Weaver as well.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

Ryan Raburn as a defensive change in LF. Great. That's like Brandon Inge as a pinch hitter.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

Yeah, we took that one in the shorts.

We're not out of the woods yet.

3-2 final. Quite the afternoon.

Verlander now has 15 wins.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

That had to have been the most interesting 9-inning July baseball game I've ever seen.
