Actually, if Verlander can get 3 more outs without giving up a run, it's official and it can rain like hell the rest of the day.

Too late. This is what happens with ****-poor at bats with RISP. And fans need to get used to the fact that Cabrera is not going to be pitched to for the forseeable future.

1-1 game. 106 pitches in 5 innings out of Verlander doesn't help matters any, even if they were shutout innings.

I would have thought he would have chased their ghosts away.

Due to a headache and my DirecTV being a complete **** tonight, the homer light and (hopefully) Giant Tiger are entrusted to you guys for the evening.

Completely horrible at-bat from Santiago with the bases loaded and 1 out in the 2nd. Avila just walked on 4 pitches, and Santiago swings at the first pitch in the dirt, fouls one off, and swings at another one in the dirt, striking out with the bags juiced. It's really hard to hit the baseball with your head up your ***.
