I bow to your superior knowledge.Its lifting the puck up a few inches off of the ice over a defenders stick and putting it on your teammates blade for a tip-in or one-timer. Murray used to have a 4 X 4 that he put on the ice in practice that the players would have to make a pass over to thier linemate in a drill to work on that skill. As DG said you want to keep the puck from being wobbly so its goes right on the blade of your teammmate's stick
