No! I wasn't asking for a discussion just posting an opinion.:D FWIW replacing Hill with a former Gopher player like Scott Bell would be a good move. Back to the series this weekend: With Colborne out and the flu reeking havoc on DU, hopefully the Gophers can pick up at least 3 pts.

I will have to check that out.

Here is what Gopher hockey is competing with on saturday night on FCS Central, I can now see why they are not showing the game live. :rolleyes:

Don't go to extreme measures just because of one game reschedule.

BTW, I assume the Vikes are a noon game? I'd hate to have to make my wife watch them on the small TV in the basement if they play at 3:00.

Also, I assume a 7:05 (or something like that) start tonight?

Vikes are noon. After them the Gophs will come on. I will at least DVR the Sunday broadcast so I can see the game but I can't stay away from the score for 24 hours so I'm like to get the live broadcast of the audio.

And MN sweeps. Easy game tonight, and nailbiter tomorrow (only because no one outside the arena will be able to see it, meaning it'll be a helluva game to watch).

I will try to stay away from the internet and news and watch it Sunday not knowing the results. (Reminds me though of the time I was staying at my parents for a night and asked my Dad to tape the game so I could watch when I got home in the evening, but was explicit that I didn't want him to tell me the result. When I got home, he met me at the door, tape in hand, and said "you can stay up and watch this if you want to waste your time.") My wife will appreciate me spending the whole afternoon watching sports, especially since I plan to hunt for a good portion of Saturday. (I may be looking for a place to shack up in the near future.)

I went to check local programming for FSN and went to the FSN (Minnesota) site. There was a spot to choose your team for which you wanted to check programming. They had all the MN Pro teams and Gopher football and basketball listed, but not hockey!!!??! Why is college hockey the Rodney Dangerfield sport, even in MN???
